Every House, 2020; 4k two channel film, colour, sound.
Every House is a two channel observational film.
A short reflection on the passage of time and shifting physical as well as psychological landscape. It features a retired farmer who owns a small holding in a valley on the Beara Peninsula. As forestry plantations form part of investment portfolios, once open houses are now behind lock and key. The sustainability of a future in this locality for both land and people looks uncertain.
